Dr. Jackie Walters
Dr. Jacqueline Walters is one of the longest running stars in Bravo history who is widely known as America’s most beloved OB-GYN “Dr. Jackie” on Married to Medicine. Now going into its 10th season, the reality series chronicles the personal and professional lives of women in the Atlanta medical community. Her positive and vibrant attitude toward life, infused with her dedication to work and family, has made her a fan favorite.
As a two-time breast cancer survivor, Dr. Walters has turned her pain into a passion for nurturing the emotional and physical needs of women and men diagnosed with breast cancer through her 50 Shades of Pink Foundation, an organization established in 2013 to treat the inner and outer beauty of survivors.
After earning two bachelor of science degrees from the University of Mississippi and Alcorn State University, and graduating from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, Dr. Walters completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology from the Medical Center of Central Georgia and Mercer University. Dr. Walters has added best- selling author to her list of accomplishments with the debut of her feminine health book, “The Queen V.”
The award-winning OBGYN is on a mission to educate the Black community on important health issues and end racial disparities in healthcare through impactful campaigns and partnerships.
In partnership with Myya, Dr. Jackie will connect breast cancer survivors across the country to products and services that they need while informing them of their federal rights to have these items covered by their health insurance plans.
