Myya Breast Form in Sienna Brown
MORE SOFT BREAST. LESS WATER BALLOON.
If you’ve ever picked up an old-school silicone insert and thought, this feels nothing like a breast, we understand.
We wanted something different.
The Myya Silicone Breast Form is made from medical-grade whipped silicone, giving it a softer feel than the dense, fluid-filled forms many women associate with traditional prostheses.
It’s soft.
Smooth.
Substantial.
And it doesn’t slosh.
Once it’s inside your bra, it warms against your body and works with the bra to create shape, weight and balance.
It’s a prosthesis. Fit matters.

WHAT DOES A BREAST FORM ACTUALLY FEEL LIKE?
This is one of the questions women ask me most.
The short answer?
More soft breast. Less water balloon.
The Myya form feels soft and substantial in your hand. There’s weight to it, because there should be, but the whipped silicone construction gives it a softer feel than many traditional silicone prostheses.
The outside is smooth with a matte protective surface.
Inside your bra, the form is held by the pocket like a cradle.
It shouldn’t feel like something is floating around inside your cup.
It should sit with your body.
And as you wear it, the silicone warms toward body temperature.

WHY THE WEIGHT MATTERS
A breast form isn’t only about making two sides of a shirt look the same.
Particularly after a unilateral mastectomy, breast tissue and its weight have been removed from one side of the body.
An appropriately weighted external breast prosthesis can help restore weight balance across the chest. The American Cancer Society notes that a properly weighted form can provide balance for correct posture, and current research suggests appropriately weighted prostheses may improve some measures of postural alignment after unilateral mastectomy.
That’s why we don’t approach breast-form fitting like:
“What cup size would you like?”
We’re looking at:
Your natural breast, if we’re matching one.
Your chest wall.
Your frame.
Your bra.
Your projection.
Your shape.
The weight of the form.
How you look from the front.
How you look from the side.
How everything feels when you move.
Heavier isn’t automatically better. Properly fitted is better.
THE SHAPE
ONE SHAPE. A LOT OF BODIES.
The Myya Silicone Breast Form comes in a versatile triangular shape.
The longer point is positioned toward the upper chest, while the rounded portion creates projection inside the cup.
That shape gives us flexibility when fitting different bodies and chest walls.
During your fitting, we’ll show you exactly how to position it.
HOW TO PUT IT IN YOUR BRA
1. Hold the form gently.
You don’t need to squeeze or force it.
2. Open the pocket of your mastectomy bra.
Gently fold the form enough to guide it through the pocket opening.
3. Position the longer point toward the upper chest.
Allow the rounded portion to settle into the cup.
4. Smooth the form into place.
Make sure it is fully supported by the pocket and sitting comfortably against your chest.
5. Put the bra on and adjust.
Look at yourself from the front and the side.
The bra and form should work together.
I would make this a four- or five-frame hand-drawn Myya illustration rather than using a clinical manufacturer’s diagram.
WHICH SKIN TONE?
CASHMERE
A warm beige tone.
SIENNA
A rich brown tone.
Then:
The color of your breast form doesn’t affect the fit. Choose the one that feels most like you.
I’d show large visual swatches, not tiny Shopify circles.
And eventually photograph each against actual skin.
WHAT SIZE BREAST FORM DO I NEED?
Here’s where I do not want us to pretend this is easier than it is.
A breast-form size is not simply another way of writing your bra cup size.
The correct size depends on several things:
Your band size
Your bra cup
Your chest wall
Your body proportions
Your remaining breast, after unilateral mastectomy
Your desired projection
The bra you’re wearing
How the form’s weight feels on your body
That’s why Myya offers sizes 2 through 14, rather than asking you to select A, B, C or D.
